Welcome to the online home of
theWire Magazine
theWire magazine is a free community magazine and directory of local businesses serving Dunblane, Ashfield & Kinbuck, Bridge of Allan and Doune. theWire gets to the heart of the community and keeps the residents in touch with local businesses, community news and events, hand delivered to every household in the area....that's over 4000 homes! A Big "Thank You" goes to our volunteers for helping us with the deliveries, your time and enthusiasm are hugely appreciated!
Publishing our 1st magazine in October '09, theWire is primarily dedicated to the communities in and around Dunblane; however our website, thewireweb.co.uk, means we are accessible to everyone!
2016 saw theWire changing to a new size (A5 to B5) and to bi-monthly editions. This gave us all a chance to do more than blink before each edition landed on our doorsteps!
We are called theWire, all one word not The Wire which seems to be an American drama or music magazine! We very much hope you enjoy finding out what your area has to offer.
